      300% Surge Capacity to Start up Motor Loads

      The motor loads may draw several times their normal full-load current when first energized. The inrush currents to the inverter will be much higher than their steady-state currents. As a transformer-based inverter, RiiO inverter charger boasts sufficient surge capacity to deal with the inrush current when starting up the loads, to protect itself from breakdown.

      Power Control for Limited AC Source

      RiiO can automatically adjust its charging current by taking loads into account and only use the surplus current to charge batteries to protect limited AC sources from overload.

      Power Assist for Limited AC Sources

      When the load power keeps increasing and exceeds the limited AC source capability, RiiO will discharge the battery to compensate the insufficient part of the limited AC source. When the load power reduces, the spare energy will be used to recharge the battery.

      Optional ECO Mode to Prolong the Backup Time

      ECO Mode is to reduce the output power of the inverter while maintaining the normal use of loads when the battery capacity is insufficient or the SoC is in a low value, thus prolonging the battery backup time.
